Alex has been chosen as one of two SWAIA Residency Fellows. Included in this award are; a monetary award, a booth at the 2012 SWAIA Indian Market, featured articles in the Official SWAIA Indian Market Magazine, Santa Fe New Mexican's Indian Market Guide, the SWAIA website and more.

Alex has been invited to show work in two International shows.

“200 Works on Paper by Contemporary Native American Artists.” Ekaterinburg Museum of Fine Arts. Ekaterinburg, Russia. July-August.

I will be working as a non-tenure track Professor at IAIA. IAIA is a college dedicated to teaching all forms of art with a purpose to encourage Native and non-Native students around the U.S. to express their own cultural ideas through contemporary mediums and contexts.

I will be teaching Printmaking, Drawing and 2-dimensional Design.

Alex is now being represented by Lovetts Gallery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
